Beeches of Madame Ess is a collaborative music project comprised of, but not limited to Andy K, B Nova, Steven Tomlinson, Robin Mapes (of drums for giants), and Marc Kline. Their music in this first cd was created on the road using only battery powered keyboards and acoustic instruments. They conceived of this idea as a chance to make a musical representation of their group road trip to Nova Scotia, Canada. Each song was composed at various campsites we stayed at so if the listener hears something that sounds like a campfire it most likely is so. Some of those areas include Bangor Maine, the ferry ride cat, Blomidon, Cheticamp, which is a beautiful site in Cape Breton. The album was all recorded on field recorders on location.
